Refund policy
Overview
Tomlin Performance sells configurable made-to-order parts, stocked catalog parts, plastic test-fit pieces, free digital downloads, and design / 3D scanning and manufacturing services. Refund and return rules depend on what you ordered.
Configurable and custom-built parts — non-refundable
Parts you configure and order through our builders — including custom Z-pipes, merge collectors, log manifolds, and other made-to-order or custom-configured metal parts — are built to the specifications you select.
These configurable and custom-built parts are non-refundable.
Because each piece is made for your order, we cannot accept returns or offer refunds on these parts once the order is placed.
Confirm fitment before you order metal
We strongly encourage you to order a plastic 3D-printed test-fit first. The test-fit uses the same specifications as the metal part so you can check fitment before committing to metal.
Plastic test-fits — final sale
Plastic 3D-printed test-fit pieces are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded.
Stocked parts
Stocked catalog parts (including 991 Turbo downpipes and other non-configurable parts we keep on hand) may be returned within 14 days of delivery if they are unused and in sellable condition. You pay return shipping.
To start a return, email office@tomlinperformance.com within that window with your order number and what you want to return. We will reply with return instructions. Do not ship a return until you hear from us.
Wrong item or our error
If you receive the wrong item or something does not match what you ordered because of our mistake, email photos to office@tomlinperformance.com with your order number. We will make it right by exchanging it for the correct part.
Shipping damage
If a part arrives damaged in shipping, report it within 48 hours of delivery. Email office@tomlinperformance.com with your order number and photos of the part and the packaging, and keep all packaging until we say otherwise. We handle the claim with the carrier and will send a replacement or repair. You do not need to file a claim yourself.
Design and scanning projects
Quoting is free. Scanning and design projects require a portion of the quote up front to begin the work. If you cancel after that payment has been made and work has begun, that up-front payment is kept — the service you paid for was already provided.
Manufacturing projects
Most manufacturing projects require a deposit when you approve production. If you cancel after that deposit has been paid and production work has begun, the deposit is kept for the same reason: work already performed on your order.
